Quickly and easily learn all your times tables with this game. It's called "The Best Game" because it includes 3 different reward games for each table — 33 games to win in total! Once you've finished a table, you'll be eager to move on to the next one to discover the surprise games hidden inside it!
Each times table has its own theme, chosen to appeal to every child, girls and boys alike: Christmas, candy, tropics, beach, ocean life, forest, and more. The reward games for a given table always match its theme. Features of this game
- This game is compatible with your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
- Choose the table you want to learn using the buttons below the game. This game lets you learn your multiplication tables, from the 2 times table up to the 12 times table. You've probably already noticed there's no need to learn the 1 times table or the 10 times table — they're very easy!
- The progress bar (above the game) shows you where you stand, in other words how many multiplications you still need to solve before reaching the end of the table.
- Look at the multiplication shown, then type in the result in the white response field and submit your answer:
Computer: press the Enter key on your keyboard to submit.
Tablet and smartphone: press the submit key on your keyboard, or touch anywhere on your screen, to submit. - If your answer is circled in red: you made a mistake, and the correct answer (circled in green) is shown right away. A red dot appears in the progress bar.
- If your answer is circled in green: well done! That's the correct answer. A green dot appears in the progress bar.
- If the sound bothers you (or the people around you), you can turn it off using the button in the top-right corner of the game.
- You can choose between 2 game modes: "RANDOM" and "INCREASING". "INCREASING" mode is easier, since the multiplications are shown in order, while "RANDOM" mode is more effective for memorizing your tables.
- If you no longer want to see the tips the teacher gives you at the start of each table, you can hide them using the "OFF" button below the game.
- As soon as you give the correct answer to every multiplication in a table, you unlock a new reward game from the 4 available for that table — go ahead and play, you've earned it!
How to use this times tables game?
- 1- Focus on one table at a time: choose the smallest table you still struggle with. For example, if you already know your tables perfectly (without hesitation) up to the 4 times table, start with the 5 times table. But if you still hesitate on the 4 times table, go back to that one first.
- 2- 10 minutes a day is enough: practice on the same table a little every day, for 3 or 4 days. That's enough to memorize it completely! Don't forget a quick 5-minute review a week later to remember it for the long term.
- 3- "INCREASING" mode and "RANDOM" mode: when you don't know a table well yet, start with "INCREASING" mode — it's easier. Then, once you feel more comfortable, switch to "RANDOM" mode.
- 4- The virtual teacher's tips: be sure to check them out, they'll save you a lot of time!
- 5- Take a look at your most common mistakes: they're displayed below the game (right at the bottom).
