1 Times Table – PDF and Online Tools
The 1 times table is a special case: it's the easiest multiplication table, since a number multiplied by 1 always stays equal to itself — no need to learn it by heart !
The essential tool for visualizing the 1 times table remains the PDF listing all the multiplications, from 1×1 to 1×12, presented in a vertical layout. Choose one of our many templates: black and white or colorful. Once printed, hang it on the wall of your child's room, or slip it into their math notebook!
You can also have fun reciting the table out loud with your child, as a playful way to reinforce the rule:

This is an interactive tool that displays, in a list format, the multiplication facts for the 1 times table, from 1 × 1 up to 1 × 12. Each row of the list shows one result in a clear, easy-to-read format (for example, 1 × 6 = 6).
You can select any row by clicking on it (or using the keyboard): it is then highlighted, making it easier to focus on a specific result.
This tool is designed with accessibility in mind: every row is fully keyboard-friendly (Tab to navigate, Enter or Space to select), and screen readers clearly announce each calculation.
Flashcards for the 1 Times Table
Have you tried flashcards before? They're a method that works really well for children with a good visual memory, helping them memorize multiplications by heart, at their own pace.
To prepare them, glue each page of the PDF onto a piece of cardstock to make the cards sturdier and prevent see-through, then cut out each card along the solid lines. Next, fold each card along the dotted lines and glue the 2 sides together to hold them in place. This gives you cards showing a multiplication on the front, and its result on the back.
Shuffle the cards, then show them to your child one at a time : let them give their answer, whether right or wrong, or wait until they hesitate for too long, before flipping the card over so they can check. Set aside the cards they've mastered, so practice can focus on the ones that are still tricky, and revisit those regularly until they're fully memorized.
