Looking to help your child learn or practice the 7 times table? Regular practice is the key to long-term memorization.
The essential tool for learning the 7 times table remains the PDF listing all the multiplications, from 7×1 to 7×10, presented in a vertical layout. This is an interactive tool that displays, in a list format, the multiplication facts for the 7 times table, from 7 × 1 up to 7 × 10. Each row of the list shows one result in a clear, easy-to-read format (for example, 7 × 6 = 42).

How to practice the 7 Times Table?
Remind your child to practice regularly, so they can memorize their 7 times table for the long term: there's no need to wait until the table is fully mastered! Practice helps solve the last multiplications that are still tricky, or clear up any remaining hesitations.

To help your child memorize their multiplication tables for the long term, nothing beats the fun of a game! Each perfect score unlocks a new game, one at a time: your child always has a new goal within reach. This game mechanic turns practice into a motivating challenge: your child aims for a perfect score out of genuine enthusiasm rather than obligation, and progresses while having fun thanks to our times tables games.
3- Worksheet to print and complete
Once your child has learned the 7 times table, this worksheet is the ideal tool to check what they've learned: it's a list of multiplications with the missing answers for your child to fill in. After completing the worksheet, ask them to check their answers using a multiplication chart, which remains the most practical tool for this.
Then have them circle any incorrect answers, to identify their weak points and focus practice on those alone. There's no need to discourage them by making them redo the whole worksheet: for the multiplications that are still tricky, have them copy those multiplications several times in a row, and repeat this for 2 or 3 consecutive days. You can also make use of their auditory memory by asking them to recite the answers out loud.
As long as there are still mistakes or hesitations with the 7 times table, it's best to keep practicing before moving on to the 8 times table.

Trick for the 7 Times Table
In the 7 times table, there are only 2 multiplications to learn! They are 7 x 7 = 49 and 7 x 8 = 56.
Why are there only 2 multiplications to learn?
- When you get to the 7 times table, it means you've learned your tables from 2 to 6, so you should already know 7 x 2 (= 2 x 7), 7 x 3 (= 3 x 7), 7 x 4 (= 4 x 7), 7 x 5 (= 5 x 7), and 7 x 6 (= 6 x 7). If not, keep practicing with the previous tables before tackling the 7 times table.
- And for 7 x 9, you don't need to learn it by heart, since there's a trick that makes it easy to find all the results of the 9 times table.
