Travel back to the 80s with the cards from the vintage memory game illustrated by Dick Bruna and published in 1981 by the German company Ravensburger. This online game uses cards identical to those in the first 1981 edition.Dick Bruna memory®.

It's a toddler edition named Dick Bruna memory® named after the illustrator who designed the cards. Dick Bruna is best known for writing and illustrating a number of children's books.

Rectangular and red 10.6 x 7.5 x 1.4 inches. It features Ravensburger's blue triangular logo.

Contents of the box:

  • 36 cards (72 pairs) stored in 8 compartments
    Card dimensions: 2.3 x 2.3 inches
    Back of the cards: White and blue stripes Ravensburger
  • 1 strip of letters and 1 numbered strip for easy arrangement of cards on the table

How to play the matching game online?

Click "PLAY" to start. Flip cards 2 at a time to find matching pairs — when you find a pair, you get to play again! Otherwise, the cards flip back face down. The goal: find all the pairs in as few moves and as little time as possible. Every game is randomly generated, so you can play over and over!

Adjust the difficulty by changing the number of cards and the display speed using the buttons below the game. 3 game modes are available:

  • SOLO: play alone at your own pace.
  • WITH A FRIEND: share a fun moment with a friend, brother or sister sitting next to you.
  • VS COMPUTER: take on the computer — set the level to "EASY" if it's too challenging!
