Frequently Asked Questions

How do you play an online matching game?

The cards are placed face down in rows and columns. The goal is to find all the matching pairs by flipping the cards over two at a time. If the two cards match, you win the pair. If not, they automatically flip back and you try again.

The number of cards ranges from 12 to 140, letting you adjust the difficulty to your level. You can change it at any time using the buttons located below the game.

What game modes are available?

Three game modes are available. In Solo mode, the goal is to find all the pairs as quickly as possible and with as few moves as possible. In 2-player mode, you take turns with a friend on the same screen and whoever finds the most pairs wins. You can also play against the computer, choosing its difficulty level.

For teachers or anyone who wants to play remotely via screen sharing, a numbered cards display feature is available on every game.

What themes are available?

We offer a wide range of themes so you'll definitely find something you love:

  • Into video games? Find your favorite video game characters like Minecraft, Fortnite, or Mario Kart.
  • Love unicorns and princesses? You'll adore the Barbie, Disney princesses, unicorns, Hello Kitty, or Frozen matching games...
  • A nature lover? Check out our matching games with animals — marine, tropical, Asian, insects, or felines.
  • Love learning while playing? Take a look at our learning games with dinosaurs, dog breeds, or multiplication tables.
  • A cartoon fan? Play with the heroes from your favorite cartoons — The Simpsons, Tom and Jerry, Finding Nemo, Dora the Explorer and many other Walt Disney matching games.

Why are matching games good for kids?

Matching games are a great way to train your memory while having fun! The more you play, the easier it gets to remember where the cards are and find the pairs faster. It's also a fantastic exercise for concentration and observation skills.

Every new game features a random card layout, so each session is always different — you can play again and again without getting bored. And on Memozor, all matching games are 100% free and unlimited.

Can you play without a screen?

Yes! If you'd like to play without a screen, you can print one of our matching games in PDF format. Just stick the sheets onto a firm backing (cardboard, card stock...) and cut out the cards one by one. You'll have a real physical memory game to share with your family or friends!
